The Precision Saw Base is meant to replace the lighter duty base that comes with the Makita 16" Model 5402-NA (blue housing)portable circular saw. Bases are milled from 3/8" aluminum and use quality mounting hardware. No depth of cut is lost and the degree of bevel is increased to 60 degrees.
